Rodney’s Oyster House

Rodney's Oyster House Vancouver

Out shopping – felt peckish in Yaletown. Dropped by Rodney’s for the Happy Hour – 1.50 raw oysters plus a small selection of other foods – mussels, scallops, etc. The oysters were fresh, tasty and accompanied by a plethora of sauces. Although sometimes less is more and a little bit of lemon with fresh horseradish is just right. Forget the wine and stick to the beer – the draft cream ale comes in a frosty glass – delicious and refreshing. Friendly service with the main floor having more of a casual bar than restaurant atmosphere (given the mounted televisions playing sports in the background)
