One of the best pain au chocolat that we have had – and we have had many. Nice bakery with a few tables in a rather random place in North Vancouver – an industrial park with limited parking. We parked illegally the first time because all the spots were reserved although empty – go figure. Nevertheless, the pain au chocolat as well as the almond croissant were awesome. Of course we also had to buy the frozen chocolate sparkle cookies (6 for $7.50) which have made Thomas Hass famous – bake and enjoy. The sparkle cookies can be bought already cooked but there is something about warm chocolate cookies that shouldn’t be missed. They do decent lattes complete with random foam art. The chocolates are supposed to be excellent as well – will have to try them next time. Don’t go on Mondays – we went – it was closed – needless to say T was a grumpy goat.
