Phnom Penh – Visit 1

September 27th, 2007 · No Comments

Delicious but busy. Go early if you want to get a table for lunch or try to make a reservation. Seems like people go out of their way just to go to this restaurant. The famous butter beef is thinly sliced rare beef swimming in a pool of garlicky sauce garnished with cilantro. The spicy squid is crispy, appropriately chewy and again quite garlicky served with a lemon dipping sauce. The hot and sour soup is supposed to be good as well. $24 for two including tea and tip. 244 East Georgia Street, Vancouver 604-682-5777
