As the Seattle trip was all about the food, and we knew that Seattle has a great coffee scene, we decided to find out what this good coffee thing was all about. Looking around on chowhound, we found this place, and as it was just a short hike up the hill from downtown, we decided to hit it up post-top-pot.

And it turned out to be a good idea. This is the location where they actually roast the coffee, and it was a cool, kind of industrial-chic old building, super-quiet on that Saturday morning, and damn did they make a great coffee. Perfect micro-foam, a nice dark, deep flavour and lots of places to sit.

If I lived in Seattle, this would be a place that I’d come, drink far too much coffee, and read, study, chat with friends, think about life, or just waste the hours away. A pretty much perfect coffee shop.
