It was a good sign that on walking into the restaurant, most of the customers appeared to be Japanese. Service was prompt and friendly with helpful suggestions from the waitress. The mackerel roll (saba battera) as recommended by the waitress was my favorite. The sake list was interesting and I tried the masu sake which was cold and served overflowing from a small wooden box/cup which was surprisingly refreshing. Another favorite was the agedashi tofu. Other dishes tried included the unagi tempura roll, negitoro roll, tuna and sockeye salmon sashimi, house roll and chopped scallop roll and they were all solid.
$60 + tip for dinner for three with tea and one sake (granted we did have room for dessert)
