Rodney’s Oyster House

Rodney's Oyster House Vancouver
Walked over to Yaletown and felt the urge for a Friday afternoon oyster and beer fix – like many other like-minded people as we soon found out. There is a “happy hour” from about 3 or 4pm to 6pm where they have $1.50 oysters (rotating special of the day) and cheaper appetizers. We shared a plate of about 10 Denman oysters – delicious just with a squeeze of lemon although Rodney’s offers an impressive array of sauces ranging from your typical red seafood dipping sauce to fiery hot pepper sauces. The oysters were especially well-paired with the wheat beer on tap. Great place for a drink and oysters. Good sourdough bread as well.

$32.98 including tip for 2 beers and 10 oysters
