Belgian waffles in a variety of flavors – both sweet and savoury. We walked in to just get one waffle as a thank-you for a friend but ended up buying three waffles after helping ourselves to the samples they had out – milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate with almonds. They also have fruit-flavoured ones – we bought the pineapple cream and a friend’s favourite waffles include the apple and mango. We took our waffles to-go so did not partake of the sauces of the day (a pear sauce), which our friend said was tasty. Now sold at Whole Foods/Capers, these are a very popular treat. Go early for the best selection.
