Of course we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to visit this place when we fortuitously walked by on fisherman’s wharf. Excellent burger without filler on a steamed white bun loaded with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onion (if you want). If you get it animal style realize that it is quite a lot of onions. I also saw someone order fries covered in the hamburger sauce (some mayonnaise-based type of sauce?) – which I think might be “animal-style” fries. Personally, we are not big fans of the fries – although they use freshly-cut potatoes as opposed to the frozen McD’s fries – they are not crispy again as opposed to the McD’s fries. The shakes are supposed to be pretty good too and they are made with real ice cream. If you are in California and one of these burger joints are around – just try it.
