Le Pain Quotidien

September 6th, 2008 · No Comments

Going for a run around a city is one of the best ways to sightsee. It allows you to cover more ground than walking but also gives you the ability to make unexpected stops at unforeseen sights.  We ran around New York City to the Soho/Greenwich Village/Little Italy region.  During the run, we happened to run into a weekend street market where we picked up a suprisingly good pain au chocolat from the Le Pain Quotidien booth.  The crunch of the outer layer reminded us of some of the better croissants we had in France.  In truth, we can almost never pass up the opportunity to try a pain au chocolat – it is a sick but delicious affliction….
