Popular Main Street area vietnamese eatery. Like most local pho joints – the decor is minimal with the requisite television on in the corner (although on mute – which is nice). Offering above average standard vietnamese fare – nothing spectacular but everything we have tried has been tasty, hot and fresh. We have tried various vermicelli dishes which are all variations of a combo of fried spring roll, meat and julienned veggies on a bed of fresh vermicelli. The pho is average (a Vietnamese friend says that Au Petit Cafe has the best pho). Try the grilled lemon grass chicken on broken rice – at $6.95 it is a delicious piece of grilled chicken on a bed of “broken rice” – not really sure what broken rice is but there is something that we really like about the texture.
