In contrast to Sorbetteria Castiglione, this is just an ice cream window with two servers flanked with a row of ice cream mixers/makers. It would be easy to walk past this place if it weren’t for the line of customers. The fact that there is a line-up even at 11pm tells you that this is good gelato – very good gelato. The flavours were super intense and I really liked the fragola (strawberry) although T found the lemon too tart. The yucatan (chili chocolate) had a real kick to it and you could feel a slow burn at the back of your throat with each taste although it was not unpleasant. Definitely worth seeking out if you like gelato – tied for #2 with Venchi.
