White Castle Slider - New York

Ever since watching Harry and Kumar Go To White Castle , I have had a strange urge to try a slider at this popular fast food chain. By chance, one late night after a show, we strolled by a White Castle near Madison Square Garden and I just had to go in. First of all, I never realized there were so many different types of sliders and that you can order them individually or in such large quantities (eg. 100). I wasn’t that hungry nor was I sure what to expect so I went for a single White Castle slider which cost a total of $0.75 with tax. I will admit that most people were ordering at least several sliders and that one slider is not much more than 2 or 3 bites. For some reason, it was what I sort of expected. A mini burger which came with a few bits of cooked onion and a pickle with a highly processed small square of “meat” on an equally processed soft steamed white bun. I can see why it would be like a drug for a fast food junkie.

White Castle #100060

525 8th ave, Manhattan but locations all over the U.S.
Cost: cheap, $0.75 for a single white castle slider
Verdict: For fast food junkies only
