Dae Bak Bon Ga – Vancouver

February 10th, 2010 · No Comments

This Korean restaurant on Robson Street located above the main street level would be easy to pass by. However, people in the know, think this is a pretty good Korean place. When you walk into the restaurant, despite the fan hoods above the tables, there is still a bit of smoky bbq hanging in the air from all the tables actively grilling their meat.

We opted out of the korean bbq this time and went for the other items on the menu. The bi bim bap (korean rice with all the fixin’s in a hot stone bowl) was good but the best dish was the seafood pancake. In other places I have found the pancake underwhelming, but this pancake had a nice crispy exterior.
